Finally, approval and a date!
I just wanted to drop a note to everyone still seeking insurance approval. It took me seven months to get here, but next week I am having my surgery (RNY). I was initially denied and had to do a three month doctor supervised diet. It seemed to take forever! The ObesityHelp boards were a lifesaver. If you are still waiting for an answer or are appealing a rejection, there is hope! I hope we can all meet on the "Losers' Bench" soon! Lisa R.

,i still have a ways to go yet before Vanderbilt sends my info in......I have to do a 6 month diet thing, 5 months to go......
